That had to be an absolute heart-stopper for the two people holding P6 tix to Runawayeightyfour in the 9th @ BEL today. That one and My Man Marty were neck and neck the entire last 2 and a half furlongs, and by a neck Marty prevailed. Those ticks would have been worth over $97,000 each…OUCH!!! If you saw any grown men (or women) crying hysterically at 5:15 EDT this afternoon, it might have been them.
