So I'm very new to handicapping and I mostly just play the pick 6 and then occasionally hedge win bets against my pick 6 ticket. Like I said I'm very new (about a month now) so any feedback or criticism is appreciated. Also I try to subscribe to kolb's 30/30/40 rule as close as I can after ive handicapped the races and im eliminating contenders to keep my ticket cost to $144 and under. So there is often going to be morning line favorites that are decent contenders that I leave off my ticket. With that said on to my selections.

Race 4: :4: :3:

Race 5: :8: :4:

Race 6: :12: :6: :11:

Race 7: :1: :2:

Race 8: :4:

Race 9: :4: :12: :7:

Good luck today!

Out after race 5. One of the last 2 favorites I eliminated from my ticket took it with neither of my picks giving any threat. Better luck/handicapping next time.

Race 7:

2-1-4 have chances at winning.

3 is wildcard 6F stakes race. :2: won at odds 7-1 (16.40, Pl 7.20). However, John Johnny Jak was vanned off after the race... hmm.

4 came 2nd at 5/2.
$1 Ex ($6 box) returned $30.
Most importantly (for me) :3: did well to finish in the top 4. I hope this half bro of Animal Kingdom improves here on..

Well started out bad but ended up hitting 4 out of 6 which is still a loser. No hedge bets since I was out early. Down $144 on the day.

So I'm very new to handicapping and I mostly just play the pick 6 Welcome Cincyman.. You should analyze all ur pick6 bets to date and see how you wuld have done if you had played those in pick 3's or pick 4's (if available at that track).

Then see if you come out on top, maybe time to switch strategies.. esp if you are hitting 4 out of 6. Good luck!
