Early Pick4 Sunday 7/01

Very tough early pick 4 which is why I'm playing.

Race 1- * :5: :6: :7:
Alw 77000nw1/x
#5 Street Thug (Dutrow/Dominguez) and #6 Mulheb (McLaughlin/Garcia) are two impressive 3yo's that we may hear from at Saratoga. They both went identical 1:09 2/5ths while racing a mile and 1 1/16 miles respectively. Hard to separate. Although, they may be staggering late after dueling early, I don't see anyone else with enough talent to capitalize. Possibly #7 Divine Child (Servis/Lezcano), one of two older horses. This one with experience and closing ability in a race that sets up for him.

Race 2- *:6: :8: :9:
Clm 20000nw2/L
#6 Resoundingly(L.Rice/C.Velazquez) is one of two for Linda and I liked the other but Cornelio had the option. Filly has been off for six months and Linda Rice is just ok with those types but this group is a little weak. Turf course has been lightning quick so give attention to the #9 Stay Composed (B.Brown/W.Garcia) who led for 5/8ths of this same kind of contest on 6/17. She is the speed of the speed and furthermore should clear. Seven pound bug rider gets second chance on front end. #8 Princess Malia (Dutrow/Prado) was claimed for $35k then moved up before plunging for maiden breaker. Tag lowers again for trainer/jock combo that is having success at this meet.

Race 4- :1: :4: :11:
Msw 75000
#11 Divine Luck top pick as she had a strong comeback and the bottom side of her pedigree is the Phipps' finest. She shares a common race with M/L favorite #4 Pianist. #1 Indy Dreaming made a strong middle move last out, getting better.

Race 5- :1: :2: :6: :7: :10: :11:
Alw 57000nw1/x

Basically hitting the all button. This type of race is most difficult, a State bred turf sprint.*

$1 Pick 4
Total Cost $162

Finished 2 of 4.... Beaten 3/4 of a length and a nose from having 4 of 4. Although, I may have spent too much. Obviously it didn't play out as tough a sequence as I thought. 3 short prices and a Dominguez ridden longshot.

Race 2: 4 - 2 - :7: (out at this point, :5: was a vet scratch)

Race 3: :6: - :8: - 10 Winner paid $8.90

Race 4: :4: - 13 - :11: Winner paid $3.50

Race 5: 8 - :7: - :1: (Dominguez carried home 15-1 shot)

I'll try again Wed.
