Come on..... the evolution of mankind has taken us from the cave to the threshold of the stars , stop that negative thinking.

Liberalism. It will either drown us all in debt or tip the planet over from the weight of their IOUs.

I think it's becoming clear: Zombie Apocalypse

And seriously, WTF is going on with all these government Zombie preparedness documents and actual training exercises?

Prepping for Obama's next term?
Seriously, of course mankind will be done in by self-inflicted global warming.

One theory as to why space travel is limited with advanced civilizations and forbidding them from visiting one another is that they self destruct before advancing to that state. In terms of space and time we're a relatively young civilization and we're already nearing that stage. We've only been to our own moon.
Believe Carl Sagan brought up this theory in his book "Cosmos".

Too many reasons for it to be only one. May be an ultimate one, but suspect we'll be too busy with world war III (not unclear, just every country fighting their neighbors in a battle royale, global warming (or cooling after something else), microviruses, astroids, etc.

One day you'll turn on the boobtube and find all 'Bones' reruns. All day; every channel. Forevermore. ... :( . If that's not the Obamalypse, I want to know what is.

As mentioned, I'm an existentialist. Ain't that a kick in the head?

Ax the dinosaurs about asteroids. After all our myriad of beliefs about this and that, it's more than likely we'll go the way of Dino. By a random large rock floatin' through space.

Don't tell me there's a Biblical passage that says that can't happen?

Well, our orbit decays a little every day. And one day this old Earth will fly into the Sun. So you might say God will end Mankind.

Actually, the true cause of "global warming" is revealed. (See 2Pet 3:10-13.) So, get suited up in your highest quality asbestos suit of armor. The first time around, Man was judged by water. But second time around, it'll be by fire. I suppose, then, in a sense we could say that Man caused the big bake off.
