Should be a HOT night at Running Aces tonight. Extremely humid and warm. I will be guzzling bottles of water to keep up. Card looks great!
R1: 1,4,5,3......Arizona Straittalk-3/1 ML......Warren woke up this gelding last out form the eight hole and won convincingly at 14/1. He gets the rail this time and should sit just behind the #4 for the garden trip. Won't get the same price, but could get the same results. Pick 3: 1,4 w 2 w 1,3 Pick 4: 1,4 w 2 w 1,3,5 w 5,1
R2: 2,3,6,4......No Recess-9/5 ML......Destroyed this field last time out and plans to do the same again. 2nd time lasix will only help. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R3: 1,3,5,4......Jana's Diamond-6/1 ML......Tossing last out as may have been post position hurt. Draws the golden post and gets Ronnie Wrenn Jr aboard. Wrenn Jr has been tearing it up as of late and I like this horse last time out. I think she competes here and can pull off the upset. Mr. Trifecta's Bomber of the Night!
R4: 5,1,2,3......Mandy Lou-5/1 ML......Scored from the eight hole last out and gets a return trip against similar company. Loves the lead and there isn't much in the way of early speed here. Should be out front and driving. Pick 3: 5,1,2 w 3,6 w 7,2 Pick 6: 5,1 w 3,6 w 7,2 w 3,4 w 1 w 4,1
R5: 3,6,1,5......Fakeutu Bluegrass-4/1 ML......Tossing last due to early break. Of the last three races, this looks to have the easiest company of the three. Has shown early speed and I am looking for Coblentz to have her on the front where she belongs and see what happens.
R6: 7,2,6,5......Sharon Spur-7/2 ML......Ran out of gas down the stretch last time out after have the lead on the 2-3q. Drops in claiming class against easier here. Early speed may hold and Wrenn Jr aboard. Pick 4: 7,2 w 3,4 w 1,4 w 4,1
R7: 3,4,1,5......Six Pack Annie-4/1 ML......Up in class with Rath aboard. Was driving strongly down the stretch. Will need a strong effort against this company. Pick 3: 3,4 w 1,4,7 w 4,1
R8: 1,4,7,5......Epona-6/1 ML......Had this mare and won at 5/1 last out. Was driving towards the end. Magee jumps on the #7 and Ridge Warren jumps on our horse. Warren has won before with this mare in Maywood and should be sneaky here. There is no question I am a fan of this horse and this horse does like the rail. I like the price I should be getting here and the driver change. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
