Can't catch a break and CRUSH one. I didn't use the 6 on top in tris but I ended up keying the 3 heavy and, at least, had the exacta. But Husbands screwed me on this one by going after the 1 too early and setting it up for the 6. And the 10 just missed for 4th.

This is a tough race and I'm too lazy to work through it (even though that would take my usual 2 minutes :lol:) And it would require too many combos.

8, Strike Red, is a nice horse but she's facing some much better ones here than she's run against previously. 8:5 is a joke on her. She could win but not with my money.

2,3,5,8,10,11 can all win it.

Going to just bet the longest shot of these, :2:, Burmah Star, to win, if I get at least 20:1. Decent turf races, a nice move in a race that collapsed and cutting back today. Good shot at long odds.

Looked like the 10 got hung wide into the pace a little. She stayed on her proper lead although she quit in the stretch. I haven't given up on her yet. nice score.

Seems to be a lot of pace in the race, which should set it up for late runners. And, Wise Dan figures to be tough. But

:3:, Fort Larned: poor ride last out; wide and moved prematurely. With a more patient ride, can sit just behind the speed and try to get it done.

:1:, Wise Dan: figures to get a nice setup. Will be tough to beat.

:3:, Ron the Greek: like the look of his last race. I think this is the best closer in the race. But Lezcano has a habit of not getting late runners to change leads.

What a TERRIBLE ride by Johnny V, getting Wise Dan beat, while effectively gutting him with that ride. He was best tonight. Nice ride, however, by Lezcano. on Ron the Greek. Worked out essentially the same for me: had the 1-5 for more but the 5-1 paid more.

I liked the 3 a ton better. He just hit a brick wall in deep stretch and it looked like breathing. Sometimes they know how to make an adjustment.

with the 1 i'm considering that solid GP race, and also last race he was a pace blow-out with prado... when these horses are placed well enough next out with a new rider they do well. The 3 probably makes this academic

I think either the 1,3 or 8 will win the race. I just watched the replay of the 1's race and he went nicely against the grain (though he had a rail trip until he entered). If the 3 faces early pressure, the 1 can definitely win it. No idea what to expect from the 8. Even though I'm alive in doubles, I still have to include him in any exotics.

:8:, Wakeboarder: decent 6f effort last year. Blinkers on today. Of the non winners in here, this one has had the least chances to screw up.

:5:, Molinaro Fort Heal: Ramsammy up, so anything is possible. Has a nice race at the distance. Can he repeat it?

:6:, Mia's Rocket: very nice effort 2 back going 6.5F.

:11:, Mela Dramatically: off slow and rushed in the middle part of the race, last out. A better break and a sensible ride gets this one home today. Not crazy about the Blinkers On but I have to trust Motion.

:6:, Madame Johar: was sitting a perfect inside trip when her jock took her out and put her on the lead. She held well and a better ride makes her very tough.

the splits were too fast. what's the rush to go after the longshot? they're not holding on with those fractions. Husbands realized this and took back once McAleney came through on the inside to take the lead. but the damage was done. This is supposed to be 5/4/10 or 4/5/10 -- they completely screwed up the shape of the race
