Absolutely fantastic card tonight! Bomber potential everywhere! Counting at least 4 races where the big dog could come in at!
R1: 5,3,1......Sweet Talkin Tom-9/5 ML......Jumped up in class last time out and cashed. Dropped down to this level after wiring the field from the eight hole. Should be able to win easily here from the five hole. Miller onboard.
R2: 6,8,3......Jasper Labrook-7/5 ML......Nearly wired the field last time out. Gets another try here and looks strong. Looking for his first one.
R3: 5,4,2......Just Us-10/1 ML......In the land of terrible horses, time is king. Just Us shows one of the better recent times of the group. Looks like he was stuck parked over the 2q and never got around through traffic. Did make up 6 lengths though.
R4: 4,3,1......Lennox Blue Chip-9/5 ML......This horse loves Maywood Park. Won by nearly 5 lengths last out. Jumps up in class and should have no problems here. Carpenter back aboard. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R5: 1,6,5......Uncle Smoothie-9/5 ML......Drawing the golden post will help this gelding. Was post position hurt last time out. Can close from off the pace, but I see this one up front with Carpenter aboard.
R6: 2,3,1......Real Desirable-8/1 ML......This gelding woke up with De Long back aboard last time out. Gets the improved post position and if can get similar trip as last time, has a chance at a big upset. Mr. Trifecta's Bomber of the Night!
R7: 6,4,2......NJ's Big Deal-2/1 ML......This horse just wins. Has faced this company many times and has either come out on top or cashed. What be any money worth betting into this race, but should be a fun one to watch.
R8: 2,6,1......Rio's Z Tam-5/2 ML......Nearly wired the field from the seven hole here. Gets a much better post this time and Ridge Warren back aboard to bring this gelding home.
R9: 7,1,3......Party Hangover-7/2 ML......Should get a decent price on this filly. Did win from this post two back by 8.5 lengths. That was against much weaker opponents though. Lost by a neck last out. De Long could surprise here.
R10: 5,1,2......Sentimentaljourney-9/2 ML......Like the last race as he won out, wiring the field and riving. Does step up in class here and maybe fighting for a piece of the lead. Has been able to win off the place and close down rivals, so there is some tactical speed here.
R11: 2,3,7......King Z Tam-10/1 ML......Two back ran rather well after the 4 month layoff. Got parked out of the gate and didn't do much last time. Gets another try here and should fetch a big price. Like my chances at a big price with this one. Leonard nearly sniffed the wire, can he do it here?
R12: 2,5,7......Fox Valley Libero-10/1 ML......Roberts likes to keep and should keep this gelding close to the front. Cashed last 3 of 4 with one win. Will get a huge price and does face some stiffer competition here. Like the chances again and the big price.
R13: 3,5,7......Make It Work-3/1 ML......Prefers to do battles against Illinois Bred, but should figure here as well. Tossing last due to post hurt and wired the field prior. Warren still aboard.
R14: 2,4,8......Sand Jake-8/1 ML......Did well against a very game La Cabana last time out. That early speed isn't on the rail in this spot and is actually on the far outside post. Oosting onboard for this one and should be very intriguing. Does show some mid speed here. Whether this gelding wins will depend on where Oosting places this one. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
