So Royal Delta is entered into the Fleur de Lis Handicap.

Two things caught my eye in this bloodhorse article (http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/70542/royal-delta-seeks-rebound-in-fleur-de-lis#ixzz1xjshL7D2) :

"The 4-year-old daughter of Empire Maker will be piloted by Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith for the first time. He replaces regular rider Jose Lezcano."

Guess the reason they are tossing Lezcano is because of the Dubai ride? Any other reasons? Not sure if Mike Smith is the best choice, given his recent form of 2nds (of course he ran those on horses with different running style)

"remarked Benjamin Leon, owner of Besilu Stable. “I believe she’s capable of competing at that level and with a better trip I think she could have won...... think she could become the first female to win the Dubai World Cup; she’s definitely of that caliber.”

Then how come she is not entered into the Stephen Foster H.?
