Got my contract at Running Aces! I will be live throughout the meet at Running Aces on Tuesdays and Saturdays. So join me as I do my handicapping analysis for each race. For those who want those bets in early, here are my picks:
R1: 1,6,5,2......Youremyaddiction-6/1 ML......Dropping in class here. Went four wide last time out trying to get around, but the leader was too strong. Wiseman jumps aboard here. Should fetch a price. Pick 4: 1,6,5 w 1,4 w 6,7 w 3 Mr. Trifecta's Bomber of the Night!
R2: 1,4,3......Peanuts-3/1 ML......Svendsen had this gelding driving and closed strongly down the stretch. That is how he likes to win his races and just barely missing the wire. This horse does prefer the outside to the inside, but like to see where Svendsen puts this horse. Pick 3: 1,4 w 6,7 w 3,4,1
R3: 6,7,5,2......Hot Rod Red-4/1 ML......Quaflifier showed this gelding may have improved in speed, showed flashes of mid to late speed. Didn't show much last year at Balmoral, but should face a bit easier here. Banks climbs aboard for the try. Pick 6: 6,7 w 3 w 5,2 w 5 w 3,4,2 w 1,2
R4: 3,4,1,7......Nocturnal Rose-9/2 ML......Tried to close way off the pace and showed some strong late kick last out. Gets a bit better post here and I feel like that move here will get this mare to the finish line this time. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R5: 5,2,4,7......Together Again-3/1 ML......Cashed a few times out in Harrington. Qualifier didn't show a ton, but if can get duplicate trip at Harrington here, the times should match up and should show well. Pick 4: 5,2 w 5 w 3,4,2 w 1,2
R6: 5,4,3......Wild About Eagle-3/1 ML......Likes to be on the lead. Was doing very well down at Cal Expo. If that early speed and times can translate which they should, can very easily wire the field. Pick 3: 5,4 w 3,4,2 w 1,2
R7: 3,4,2,8......I Do It Myself-9/2 ML......This mare looked to be post position hurt and had a hard time getting competitive. She looked to have a done two moves which shows she does have some tactical speed and heart. Definitely like what she did out there. Second time start with Roland aboard should fit in well.
R8: 1,2,3,7......Candy Apple Miss-4/1 ML......Post position hurt last out, tossing last. Gets the golden post here. Should be on or just off the lead. Will need a strong showing here.
R9: 6,4,7,9 Hurricane John-5/1 ML……Very much been off form as of late. Hoping change of track helps here. When firing right, has good late kick to get through to the wire. Can be near the pace or off the pace. Has faced tougher foes.
