Sadly lost his courageous battle with cancer this morning.

"Tee Joe" as he was called was a good Cajun boy and a great family man. Used to see his wife and then newborn child at FG back in the early to mid 2000's.

RIP Elvis

Sad indeed. I used to see him smoking between races near the paddock at Lone Star when his brother in law (Patrick Mouton) ran horses there. The Perrodin and Mouton couples were very tight knit, good folks.

About that time was when my mom died of lung cancer from decades of smoking. You feel like saying something to these people that smoke, but it would be far out of place to do so. It's a painful, horrible way to die.

RIP, Elvis Perrodin. aka "the sod God" at LS and LaD.

Very sad to hear this news. I've watched him race forever down south here. Was a favorite of mine to use on those turf races! God bless the family.

RIP EJP

He was spoken of with great praise . A few months ago there was a fundraiser at the track in La and I know some industry people went out of their way to get there .
Condolences to his family.
RIP!

I was very sad to hear the news. He was definitely one of the good ones.

I learned quite a lot about watching races from the rider's perspective by talking with him at FG. He was an awesome guy.

Very sad to hear the news that Tee Joe has passed, going to miss him very much. There is a golf course in heaven that will enjoy having him around the clubhouse after 18 holes.
