I wish to thank all the connections for Mia Poppy
and the win today has broken my loosing streak.
I did not have to change my handicapping any as
I look favorably on horses that are the lone early
in any race regardless of speed. When they can
pop out there and take the lead, I think they
control the pace and it happens enough times to
make it a good play. They do have to have a lot
of one's in last few races and Poppy had 7 out of 8
last two outs. Bris rating for style was E7.

The race was a State Bred Allowance for 62K and
Poppy's last race was a S-Md 60K and finished 1st.
They let him go at 8-1 odds and no adjustment was
made after the gates opened. I needed this break-
through-bleeding, to help me break my loosing streak.

Here are the payouts for the 5th. It appears to be a gamblers dream for the Exotics.

Yes, the WPS pools were over one million dollars, $1,040,000 and probably due to this being a big day at Belmont and lots of attractions for bettors.

That was a tough beat for me. Was alive to 3 horses in the last leg of the pic 4.
