Race 1
Picks: 5-2-8-4

:1: MARION MAMSELLE- A break, Qualifiers haven't been good coming home in solid 32's will let him beat me

:2: ALL GROWN UP- Had a solid qualifier with hopples on for the first time, has some speed to get out from 2 hole, was decent as a 2 year old with 2 wins

:3: WORLD CUP-Third race off the layoff shown some improvement horse can leave a bit for position so he isn't too far back don't like that he was carefully handled last week though and loses tetrick really not sure here

:4: PERFECTION HALL- Lots of breaks for this horse but did get around yonkers last out even though it looks like he was just out for a ride, qualifier was soild behind modern family think this horse has a chance if he stays flat

:5: KINGAPORE- Big drop in class here after picking up checks in the NJSS horse was decent last year draws a good spot the pick

:6: BATTLE READY- Lots of breaks, Swick stays on the horse, will let him beat me

:7: DOUBLE DIP CHIP- Finally stayed flat not ready to use yet but watch for late trot from this horse with hopples on for second time could use in gimmicks

:8: HS CERTIFIED- Moves to Johansson barn, solid qualifier and has some speed to float for position or even get to top if he wants would use this horse

:9: HLDONTGHTTOTURDRMS- Has speed might leave but don't think this horse will last on the lead at the big track, quit from 4 hole last time with campbell on will let him beat me from the 9 hole

:10: OCCUPY WALL STREET- Coming off a break and a race in which she squandered a perfect trip and quit badly and now draws 10 hole ill pass

Race 2
Picks: 7-1-3-5

:1: CARRY A TORCH- Horse can leave from rail, was very solid in last start at philly could go wire to wire not a ton of speed in this race

:2: TWIN TOWERS- Horse is ok, but draws a solid field for NW2 will pass here

:3: ALDEBARAN MALIBU- Loved this horses last race and qualifiers, should have gotten a little more brave after the first over last week won a race at lexington last year, would use underneath and in pick 3

:4: FLOWER BOUQUET- Drops a bunch here but think the horse got carried around in the sire stakes, squandered a good trip last week only coming home in 29 will let him beat me at a very short price

:5: ITALIENNE GIRL- Horse loses Tetrick after chasing a runaway winner who passed tired horses last week but is second time hopples will use underneath

:6: KODAK LINDY- Horse was improving nicely until the scratch sick, think the horse will need 1 and going to pass for this week and look at next week

:7: ZOT- Horse won an elim last year at 2, qualified nicely with lasix and now is 2nd time lasix after a solid qualifier with Alagna on him now switches to lachance who works wonders with young trotters. The pick at a price

:8: BRUSSEL SPROUT- Horse has been ok so far this year making almost 20k but doesn't have any speed and there is not a lot of horses with early trot in this field which will put him at a disadvantage

:9: MISS CONNOR- Coming off a break and draws 9 hole not very excited about it could leave but not sure she will from out there off a break

:10: FUNNY PHOTO- Hasn't shown much so far now draws a 10 post, qualifier wasn't bad but not this week from 10 hole

Race 3
Picks: 10-1-7-2

:1: UPSIDE HANOVER- Horse won the sire stakes last year was spectacular with the hopples off in the qualifier doesn't break she will be around

:2: LADY ANDI- Horse was very good as a 2 year old, 2nd race out after the stakes race last week in the slop at mohawk will improve

:3: DULUTH- Puts berry up but just doesn't seem to be improving as much as i would like after 5 races this year and this is a decent field

:4: CHOCOLATTA DE VIE- Wasn't very good in sire stakes drops a bit here but just not ready to use will wait for a better spot

:5: KENDA- Think this horse is overmatched, chased a runaway winner last week passed a couple of tired horses will pass

:6: TIGERS TOO GOOD- Horse has not been good since the claim going in the wrong direction

:7: SOUTHWIND MONI- Excellent first start out, qualified well against Miss Paris, raced well last year against the 1 and also won the american national at Balmoral last year must use

:8: VOLUPTUOUS RONDA- Decent qualifier behind the 1 but don't like the 8 hole and will need to see the horse stay on stride for more than 1 race in a row before trying especially in a spot like this

:9: WESTERN CREDIT- 9 hole for this hole with NO speed at all will pass with spano on him

:10: LIGHTNING STORM- Horse had plenty at the end last week, won an elim in the Haughton last year at 2 in 157 in the slop. Qualifiers against uncle peter were excellent very impressed so far

Race 4
Picks: 7-3-9-5

:1: NELLIESIRISHPRAYER- qualifier was ok, not sure if the horse is good enough for the big M will watch 1

:2: TWELVE STEPS- big step up here will pass

:3: HOW BOUT A SMOOCH- horse has been good every start this year, some tough racing luck last 2 races being first over both of them much softer field here than other nw2 races at the bigm

:4: ODDS ON GUINEVERE- Been ok out in chicago, last week was ok fell in pocket and faded for 3rd tough spot here

:5: IVE GOT A FEELING- 2nd time lasix was pretty good on 5-4 first over, went 54 as a 2 year old here first over last week against the 10

:6: KITTI PLACE- Very tough qualifier against some big horses raced well but freehold races leave a lot to be desired against some pretty week horses

:7: KENTUCKY ALL STAR- Love the race last week showed speed at both ends after getting slightly shuffled believe the horse is improving

:8: CAROLINA GIRL- Been favorite last 2 starts neither a win still has been solid though, not a lot of speed could float out for position if not will have to follow 7 not sure she can outkick the 7 if she has to do that

:9: CHILDS PLAY- Faces a much weaker field than the last 2 races, horse can leave good enough here to overcome the 9 hole went 53 at pocono as a 2 year old might still get a good price with rattray on her

:10: MICKEY BLU- horse was excellent at freehold and yonkers, but draws 10 hole here and will have to show a lot more to win on the lead from 10 hole at the Big M and if she doesn't leave don't see how the horse will be ITM

Race 5
Picks: 4-6-7-2

:1: ZUMBA MOUSE- Horse has been ok and going to have to take a short price on a horse that has been breaking about every other start and has no speed but could easily win last race at the big m was terrible first over

:2: WHATNBLAZES- Broke last out at Tioga, but before that was very solid racing nw9000 at pocono going 54, 15 claimers at yonkers and raced very well

:3: ONE MORE KID- horse has been ok picking up 2 checks in 4 races no speed in this race so could be in good position just dont think the 3 year old can go fast enough here

:4: ADENIUM- A great qualifier against jezzy dejambro and zuerest then goes to yonkers for 2 outside post and no try chances ships back picks up lachance and like this horses chances at a price

:5: GUNSHY KOSMOS- Ships in from monticello of a solid win in the winners over 2-4 but horse races much better on the half and 5/8s than the mile tracks i will pass

:6: PEGASUS POINT- Very good race at pocono first over in 56.3 before that was having some breaking problems but it was on the half and feel the bigger track helps this horse went 56.3 last year at chester making 42K major player here

:7: BIG SKY BATS- Has been very good at freehold with Strong on her, ships in here and feel like this field is soft enough for this hores to be competitive

:8: GUIDING LIGHT- Didn't like any of the qualifiers, but actually didn't mind the freehold race, just don't like the 8 hole here tall order would need a monster price and a lot of racing luck

:9: KING ROVA- horse has been terrible this year made 20k last year in only 25 starts but 9 hole today will let the old veteran beat me today

:10: MS MULLIGAN- Didn't leave from outside at philly last week now draws 10 hole today not very enticing will pass
