Looks like Hamazing Destiny kicked him and he was brought to the hospital.
I read on FB he said from the hospital he was ok.
Reminds us of the dangers of being around these horses , D Wayne's son and
Tabasco Cat , that was a nightmare . I'm sure he wants to be out for the draw. Waiting on updates and hoping it wasn't too serious.

Few stitches, back toMorrow.
Amazingly, his glasses never budged.

Reports say he has sutures and will be fine .
Reminds me also of Sunday Silence whacking Whittinghim on his head. Whittingham said he was more worried about the horses leg.

Always have to watch closely after head injuries . Lukas seems pretty tough though. So are his glasses.

Being kicked by a horse is no laughing matter, a single kick can kill a man. This is how Joe Hernandez, the legendary race caller, met his death in 1972.

Awful . Did he not go to the hospital ? as I heard he died during a race call the following week . So sad.

Dumb @$% comment. Yeah I guess Jack Van Berg,Lukas, and whoever else just lost all sense and forgot how to train. I guess Lukas and them should ask Assmussen, Dutrow, etc how to do train and win stakes.
Anyway, glad to hear Lukas is ok.

Not a good thing to happen to anyone let alone a man of his age.
This guy is as tough as nails and still very sharp.
Scroll down and check out TLG's interview with DWL after the draw.

He is very sharp indeed in the interview , no question . I like how he threw one right back in Andy's lap. Andy didn't miss a beat either . Great exchange.
Lukas looks great . Hoping his headache is gone very soon , but not surprised he has one looking at that photo.
