IHA gallops

I want IHA to give us another triple crown winner, but I am not sure 1 1/4 mile gallops are enough to get it done I really fear Dullahan that did work 7f with a run out to 1 1/4. A 3 mile gallop should be nothing for a tb. I would have like to see at least one 1 1/4 work that didn't have to be fast. Hears hoping that I am wrong. I will be betting IHA but not big.

A marathon runner doesn't run marathons in practice, they run half that at near marathon speeds. Why should a horse need to be any different? It isn't like the Belmont is a sprint race. I think the gallop thing is overblown. Some horses need sharp works to keep an edge and other don't. Just like humans. If IHA loses, it won't be because of this, although O'Neill's detractors will certainly say that it was.
