I don't agree, but I will say that reading anything by Hedges is worthwhile (esp Death of the Liberal Class). The guy is a thinker that's for sure.

I watched the video and several others next to it, many a reference to disembowelment and the same stuff said over and over by this guy. Fact is there are departments that act like a well oiled machine putting out several different versions to confuse the average voter. Wag the dog is the most effective tool used by both political party's. That being said, I favor the party that is the least socialist period.

I don't know that people are headed toward some objectifying fascist capitalist corporatist apocalypse... as much as it may just be and ugly part of our natural condition.

Hedges seems to know his stuff.
Have to check out his book.

Hedges is an admitted socialist. That speech was rubbish.

He should stick to getting arrested with OWS.
