It's funny, several months ago, I emailed TM and asked if any contests were in the works for this year...Got a speedy reply, and they said that none were in the plan this year...

I am glad that they have had a change of heart.....

I think I will win it this year !....:D

If their harness past performances are anything like their tbred pps, in others words, that cheapass print that you can't read without a magnifying glass, then it will be a CHALLENGE, no doubt. Every penny counts, I suppose.

The contest does not offer free PP's each weeks, rather a variety of Trackmaster products.

In any event the Saturdays they do offer the FREE PP's are for every track racing in Canada and the US.

I was told that if you registered 'early' (last week during 'testing'), that you would need to re-register.

Their f'd up, I've been in that contest every year since its inception.
Trackmaster sent sent a join reminder, I logged in with my Trackmaster ID that I've been using since the conversion from USTA Programs to Trackmaster Programs in 1998 and now it don't take?

It's bad enough their PP's still require me to use a specific PDF tool.

Haha, the joke's on me today and last nite as well..

Being a nite-bird, I am always up late at nite and sleep in on some days when there's not to much on my plate the next day...So I go to make my picks around 4am last nite, for the contest, and foun d the same problem as several others have alluded to....It didn't work....Tried the whole browser thing too....That sucked...heehee

Well, I never really caught up with this thread til this morning, so I wasn't even aware that you had to re-register for this contest...

Oh well, I didn't really like my selections all that much to begin with....haha on me...!

I will have to win something "next week" now....:jump:....Still got 9-weeks left tho...

I tried multiple times last night and early this morning without success.

Tried to call them.
Their web page says 8AM Pacific for Sat..
I called and was told that its just an answering service and Trackmaster does not man the phones until 1PM Easter (11AM Pacific).
They need to update their web page.
I'm not calling back.

Next week Don...:jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: ...we will get-em next week...:D

P.S. Last nite I thought of re-registering again....But history has taught me that RE-registering almost always results in "already taken" dialogue box...So I didn't when I should've, haha !...

It takes an approximate $2500 a week to hit the leader board of this contest.
I've never flared well.

Winner must exceed $10+ to get that 2500.

Here's a quick question for anyone who DID submit picks in time...On your "Contest Results" tab, is it only showing 5 of your entered wagers? I made all 10 wagers and when I submitted it said they all went through. When I go to look now, it shows only 5 wagers submitted for me today. Had a nice hit in the first at Scarborough and it is not showing in the results.

This contest is unplayable if your wagers are not even going through...

Hi Guys...Thursday afternoon I tried a couple of times...but it was a few minutes before 3pm EST...the time the contest opened....a few minutes after that my ID and password failed...so I simply reregistered...I got another E-Mail with the same log in criteria that I have used for about 8 years..and all went well....So next week get your picks in after 3pm EST Thursday...reregister if you can't log in...and if problems persist ...call their Customer Service while their office is open...AND... if enough people call in to complain that they could not get into week #1 of the contest...They may add an extra week like they did 2 or 3 years ago to make up for the kinks....Have a Great Day Handicapping Harness....Good Luck!

Thanks Ray...Meant that the wager I had is not even showing under the "Results" tab that I played it; not that I was expecting results to be posted right off.

I guess I will see Monday when results should be calculated...Next week (if I play) will take a screenshot just in case.

Charlie, I can identify with that 'place-itis' effect, it's bugging me in a different contest.

In fact IMO, a good format for a contest would be to combine elements of Trackmaster and Survival. That is, play any 10 races of your choice, any track (TM) and score best overall ROI on 2$ Win/Place/Show. (Survival).

Ray, an idea that merits consideration, I'd say....
