Had RAISE THE FLAG pegged here to do well.

Now RTF is scratched as is Party of Interest leaving VACATIONING as the lone Shug representative.
Is he stepping aside for the 1?? tough to tell. Vacationing shows some of the "hottest" works from the trio entered for Shug. total guess.

:1: 2 great trainers competing for a top owner here in one entry
:7: Clement FTS
:8: 334K horse with turf breeding 25-1

Excellent betting race here.
Using many in an attempt to beat the chalk #10

EX:
6-9 w 1-4-6-8-9-10
WIN:
1

The #9 looks all set today 2nd off the shelf...broke his maiden on the stretchout, bred for turf, hope he likes the NY surface.

Booooooo
Can i blame all the other jocks, notably Kent D on #4, for letting Yara get that clear lead??
Dang, that race was over after a 1/4m.

#1 Hot Splash is a standout IMO.
The #6 is way too slow on pace and will be further back than normal today (or pay the price if she stays close)...#2 could be a dangerous pace player here.
If #1 can repeat her last on the drop and the stretchout she should win this comfortably...i will accept her current 2-1 odds but can't go lower.

EDIT: off at 8-5...no bet

Is this chalk #8 even a 25k horse?
Broke her maiden for 12k and won twice for 16k...i can't take her here, esp at 3-1.
Like the 1-5-7 and will box them with a win bet on #1

Apparently the #8 is a 25k horse
