"Behind the Silks with Tim Thornton"

Hey all,

I wanted to let you know about our new video series at AP. Basically we are going to be tracking Tim Thornton throughout the season to give the fans a behind the scenes look at racing told through the eyes of a jockey.

The premier episode "Tim Thornton" debuted on Friday and there will be a new episode posted weekly, every Friday.

We have a lot of interesting stuff planned - so stay tuned! Should be fun, hope you like it!

Enjoyable video. Always nice to get an understanding of the real person doing the riding. Tim seems like a genuine nice guy.

what was your opinion of "Luck."

Of course, they took some dramatic license, but overall was it true to life in your opinion?

Honestly, I never got around to watching it. I didn't have HBO in Florida, and then after missing a few episodes I wanted to wait to watch the whole thing from the beginning.....and still haven't. Keep meaning to though.

I so wanted to like "Jockeys" on Animal Planet, but it was just to hokey for my taste.

I promise you guys - there will be NOTHING hokey about "Behind the Silks"

I just watched the utube version and it was very good....could he do a little about his style of riding and how he approaches a race. Does he do a lot
of form study before the race or just listen to trainers...that sort of thing...
I like it a lot so far...I guess I always want to see beneath the surface.
