I think he means thoroughbred tracks?

With paramutual machines you don't have to worry about the size of your bets...of course the more you bet the lower the odds.

You'd have to check around to see what a bookmaker's maximum bet would be. Of course they're not legal outside of a casino.

Let me get this straight; you claim to be a 2 time "handicapping champion" in the UK, yet you don't even know Florida's premier track....and you are considering moving there? Wouldn't a real handicapper know that?

I don't follow racing in the UK or France but I know Royal Ascot and Longchamp are their top meets.

To answer your question, Gulfstream Park, Calder Race Course and Tampa Downs ( in that order ). If you are coming to S. Fla. you have 90 days of a 92 day meet at GP left.. The weather is perfect, the Chowder is thick and the Cuban ladies are breathtaking. We holiday 1 day a year (Christmas) and race all the others days the tracks are not closed (300 or so) and there is a winner in every race.
