Getting conflicting results. When entering "Daily Racing Form" in Google (IE9) search am also seeing the "This site may harm your computer" message. However, my Norton AV flags it as safe, green symbol. ???

I don't think there is anything wrong with the site, just a false warning. Proceed at your own risk though.

This strikes me as “interesting”: I don’t use Chrome as a browser, and I don’t have a g-mail account. But in the middle of my using drf.com, Google feels empowered/obliged/obligated to break in a give me a warning about the malware.

I guess I should be grateful they are going out of their way to watch over poor little me, but...

It took my Vista system down. Completely unusable. Had to go out and by a laptop just to get basic things going again. - Slew

Download and run Hitmanpro in SAFE MODE...it has a 30 day free trial...if it works, throw them a bone and subscribe for a year for $20.

HitManPro is pretty good at getting rid of things Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes cannot...

It took out my boot sector. Took a search on a new laptop (purchased under duress) and a lucky hit on Google to get it back up and running. - Slew

Nobody else is surprised by Google's self appointed role as Sheriff of the Internet? guess I'll have to just accept my absorption into the Google Collective.

Please, no reminders, a whole bunch of us are still fuming over this one.
