The Producers Guild of America has opted for
large-scale and high-profile epics for its
Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year kudos.
Finalists are Miramax's "Cold Mountain," Warner's
"The Last Samurai," New Line's "The Lord of the
Rings: The Return of the King," Fox's "Master and
Commander: The Far Side of the World," Warner's
"Mystic River" and U's "Seabiscuit

This was from the Producers Guild of America -- its for best "producer,"
which is the PGA's equivlent of best picture. The Screen Actors Guild will come out soon with its nominees for best actor/best actress.

I don't believe (not sure tho) the Golden Globes nominated any actors from SeaBiscuit, but it did earn a best picture nod from the GGs, (which are kind of a farce, voted upon by less than 100 junketerring foreign screen "writers," many of whom do as much writing as Captain Hook.
