.....Iv`e read lots of comments about the horse and deservedly so. But not too much mention about the jockey. I am probably a bit biased because he won a few riding titles at my home track, Hast. Park. But considering he wins his first big race at S.A. in a grade 2 then rattles off three G1s in a row, including the Derby and Preakness, I don`t think it was all the horse.
......Looking at the races, it seems to me he made some pretty timely moves.
I guess you could say that any of the jocks would have won more easily on the horse, but I think he was quite cool, for a rookie who was under a lot of pressure.
.......I hope he goes on to have a great career.
