Anyone participate in any pick 3 syndicates? I know the 'syndicate' term is usually thrown around in pick 6's, but just curious if anyone involves themselves in pick 3's..

If so, please respond or send me an email at sq764@aol.com

I don't see the value in a pick 3 syndicate. A pick 4 syndicate is something my friends and I do sometimes.

Yea, I would think for hte most part a pick 3 wouldnt pay enough to "syndicate" one. I can see playing one with a friend or something, but being real serious in it, I just don't see the potential.

I guess I should have mentioned it more as an 'investment club', more than a syndicate..

In comparison, a pick 6 club playing $500 ticket to win $10,000-100,000... versus pick 3 club playing $27 pick 3's (3x3x3) to double their money over and over....

and for the better stepping upto the bigger payoff bets it would have its advantages. tho payoffs after being split up into 3-4 parts offers a lesser payday the cost per partner is equally as less giving the same balance as a full cost pk 3 ticket. iow a $64 ticket split 4 ways cost $16 and a $200 payoff split 4 ways gives each partner 50 bucks on a $16 dollar investment. it all breaks down to a 25 cent pk3. you dont win as much and you dont lose as much and if you keep chipping away at it long enough, hit a nice payoff once in a while, it can fly.

Well, last night made it clear to me that I need more coverage.. In Sam Houston 8th, I played a pick 3 - 2 with 3,4,8 with 2,10.. Needless to say the 2 gets beat in the 8th, the 8 wins the 9th at $75.00 and the 2 wins the 10th at $20 and the pick 3 pays $15,000... (ouch)

Did you play the last DD after you lost the 1st leg of your pick-3?

Yeah and that put the dagger in my heart for the night.. I played a 3,8 with 9,10,12 double.. left the 2 out.. Don't ask me why.. But it was a $1400 lesson learned.

and when you see a pk3 bet that gets your jucies going, then you lay in on it. make that 5x5x5 bet, make that 4x5x6 bet, or that 5x5x6 bet. its only one bet but thats the kind of bet you want to look to make. that one solid good looking bet.
i mean theres a thousand ways to play the lower cost pk 3s and when you have a solid single, like i thought i had in yesterdays pk4, (long gone con in the 8th ) thats a good play as well, but when you get beat by your second choice, like i did, and pop the other legs, like i did, well there goes your $15 grand. thing is, i dont think theres anybody out there or on this board that this exact thing hasnt happened to. the trick is sorting out your picks and then identifying where the money is going to be today.
