Doe's anyone know when or if there will be slots at Ohio tracks?

Scioto Downs got the first permit last week. They are shooting for a mid to late june opening.

Inspected the Scioto Downs facility today. If the Supreme Court throws out the Ohio Roundtable lawsuit they should be ready to open the racino in June.

Speculation the decision will be announced in late May. Hard to believe they would rule in favor of the Ohio Roundtable with the Gov and both legislative branches approving expanded gambling. If it is not approved Mountaineer Gaming will probably go bankrupt.

Horsemen are to get 9-11% of gross revenues.
Some improvements to the racing plant are in progress. I belive if Scioto elects to similcast year around Beulah Park might close a year early.
