Here are links to two 8mm silent amateur film clips taken at the 1962 & 1963 Kentucky Derbys. The 1962 clip contains some footage of the actual race, along with some interesting shots of the exterior of the raceway, the infield, and the cooldown just after some of the preliminary races. The 1963 footage shows footage of some of the horse stalls, and closeups of the horses.
