Been allover their web page - n sign of anything Trakus.
Why have it if your are going to hide it? Very cluttered site, IMHO - poorly designed.

This Trakus gas got to be the most over-rated crap ever to come down the pike. They knowingly post bad data and present it in a the worst possible formats - if they bother to present it at all. I have serious doubts as to its accuracy.

Interesting that Shackleford ran 26feet(2-3 lengths) Less Than Amazombie in his game 3/4 length victory.

In fact every race is up other than the Derby.

I'll check back again later to see if they have the data up...

This whole ground covered thing is a bit overblown to me.
NBC was showing how Union Rags ran X amount of yards further than Hansen in the BCJuvy, and he actually ran the better race and blah blah blah....BUT
Did they mention that an E type like Hansen will ALWAYS be on or near the rail (that's why they call it 'saving ground') and an off pace type like Rags will usually have to come wide because he is positionally disadvantaged as a result of his running style (and his wussy jock!) ???
Ofcourse not...
I will never understand how folks think a Dullahan or Rags or a Sabercat will somehow get the rail ride and cover the same amount of ground as an E type runner. Those types almost always "run further" than a Bode or a Hansen...unless Calvin is up :)
I don't care to try to quantify that stuff in my figs.
Only the best late runners can overcome the perennial problems of needing pace and space in order to win.

Did nt Union Rags run close to the rail in Three Chimneys or some race like that (in slop).. Union Rags seemed to be a versatile runner.. but breaking bad in a field of over 10 is bad, in a field of over 15 is suicide pretty much.. I fully agree with your comment, I was watching the NBC thing too and wondering how they would quantify Caleb's Posse vs Shackleford..etc

from the trakus website.
Posted that link by accident when copying the horse from race1 on 5/4.

They have all races except the derby. I would recommend those who incorporate racewatching to take advantage of the NBC sports coverage.

It typically takes a day for big afternoon-eve races to be posted, but it should be up by now on the trakus site. There may have been an error with a horse or two and they are correcting it... or who knows?. After watching the video and the chart, the trakus numbers are more of just a fun thing to see, and something that does the work of sectional calculations for me.

Real tracks, like WOODBINE, have access to the T Charts on their websites.
I guess CD is above that.

And I'll be damned if I give me email to sign for anything from Trakus.

Agree set up - this game sucks air most of the time.
Racing deserved to be swallowed up by slots.

WTF are you going about, Fischer? The TRAKUS distance covered and all other data are AUTOMATICALLY generated. There's an electronic component. They don't need chartmakers to get the data. The ground covered is supposed to be there just the way the split times and the beaten lengths are there. TRAKUS, while once very promising, has turned out to be a BUSH operation. From the lack of sufficient bandwidth, to being clueless about not only how to market their data but where its value actually lies. The ****ers are sitting on a goldmine, something that could take the game to a new level, and they have no idea wtf is going on. What a bunch of CLOWNS.

To be honest I'm happy with doing the grunt work myself. I do not want them to understand how to utilize it.

Yes, I agree trakus is a minor league operation. Their website itself (bandwidth?) is excruciatingly slow. There are fairly frequent errors where one or more horses chips? will collect inaccurate data and "freak" showing a zig-zag or grandstand trip(what I was refrering to as a possible issue. Perhaps there is a license issue here as well?). The errors can be dealt with but the slow website and the poor choices on what data to collect/share make trakus an extraneous tool.

Very surprised to see I'LL HAVE ANOTHER with (one of the) the MOST distance run.

(specifically more than horses like Dullahan)

Can that be correct?

Thx for posting the full field numbers.

But I would disagree on Creative Cause being in great position. He was awfully wide on that 2nd turn. He even lost some ground on the 1st turn so I'm not surprised to see he lost the most ground.

I agree with that. CC was probably in a good position as far his distance from the leaders, but he lost way too much ground and his was in a prolonged drive.
