I noticed Captain Steve was retired. He's been losing what he had since coming back. I guess something happened in the plane back from Dubai?

Another - did anyone hear the Breeder's Cup commercial on the radio? An announcer mentions that they're coming down the stretch and a jockey is singing, of course he's singing about the Breeder's Cup being at Belmont. Yup, corny. Rather strange to hear it on Talk Radio today!

A lot of horses have run very poorly for quite a while after going to Dubai. I have no idea why.

There was a horse that ran in Dubai, hmmm, in the last year or two, had the name Dubai in it, maybe Dubai Millenium. Anyway, this horse did pretty much nothing after the Dubai race, and was euthenized. If someone could fill me in on details, I would appreciate it. I know I saw the race on LAST year's Breeders Cup DVD, but I don't have it now to look it.

Thanks - that's who I was thinking of. I thought he had passed away, but I didn't want to misspeak. I suppose we have his babies to look forward to in the next few years hopefully.
