3 phones, 1 Apple TV, 2 Roku boxes, 1 Desktop, 2 laptops, 1 HDTV, and whatever the last one is....... i better look into that one........

I am very seriously about to cut the cable tv off completely. Still planning my escape. So, I predict more devices on the network in the near future.

Don't forget guys, collisions and general "air pollution" will degrade your WiFi speed well below it's raw capability. I try to hardwire as much as I can. I have over a dozen devices attached to my router. The only non-transient devices attached wirelessly are my Sonos boxes.

I found my last connection. The wife's 7 inch htc tablet was connected while in her purse.

I did it over a year ago. I thought losing ESPN would be difficult for me, but not that bad. Still a lot of sports on the locals and I get ESPN 3 online with Cox internet. I also use Netflix. I like old tv shows and they have many for streaming. Most of the junk on tv today I do not care for.

How does it work? For the iPad , and iPhone , do you need an Internet connection, or can you connect it thru the 3G network ?
