The chart in that article indicates Europeans do in general. Maybe they actually have someone worth voting for...I know in our upcoming election it's gonna be like choosing between jabbing an ice pick in my ear or my eye.

All in the same day? The big trifecta!

And which half would that be?
The ones without the black squiggly armbands and jack boots?

If people don't exercise their right to vote, maybe we should tax them. Or, is it a fine?

They try to figure out ways to get people to vote, here we try to figure out ways to keep them from voting.

They have a much more diverse political landscape. People like options.

They train for them. Arching the eyebrows, shrugging one's shoulders, and practicing diving under the bed and hiding is excellent preparation.

Blame for France's economic woes have been pinned on conservative Sarkozy.
He will be replaced by socialist Hollande in their upcoming election.

I guess if you're less progressive you're considered a conservative.

Half of the back lash against him is because of his flamboyant life style. But of course, France being no different than Greece, no one wants government welfare programs to be touched, even if it means saving the government.

Now that's funny. I guess Lakside, CA., could rename itself Paris. It'd fit right in.

Perhaps not. Marine Le Pen of the right wing FN party got a surprising 18% of the primary vote and will have something to say about the final results. For now, Sarkozy has rejected an alliance with Le Pen.
