Can anyone explain what the 3rd column "Adv" in Master Magician is for & what the alpha characters represent?

There are several different characters listed i.e.

F
FT
S
N
A
L
D
SN

I think "F" stands for Fulcrum (not sure what about Fulcrum tho, because in some races there are several F's given to different horses) & I believe SN stands for Snail (per the book I understand this term)

I'll try

F does stand for Fulcrum, but it means that the horse may not be competitive against the fulcrum

FT is not an abbreviation in and of itself. It woudl be giving you advice or warning on 2 separate factors: "Fulcrum"-see above--and "turf"--meaning there is a turf line in the form cycle that has been igored/skipped over

S I think that S is Snail

N needs to lead

A there is an aberrant line in the fform cycle that has been ignored

L the horse is coming off a layoff and has sucked in the past coming off a layoff

D there is a race in the form cycle that is less than 5 furlongs that is being ignored

SN SN--would not be snail but woudl be Snail AND needs to lead

And that's all folks
