? about Woodbine purses

Does anyone know if purses listed in Woodbine past performances are in Canadian dollars or U.S. dollars?

Example - Maiden races listed with $67,000 purses.

I use Scott's PCR ratings in my handicapping and wonder if the number is inflated because of the currency difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maiden races with 67 K purses, doesn't surprise me. There lining up to get into the slot room there. I don't get it.

I'm a stalwart of Wdb's and, you may be wondering why the purses are so big.

VLT's have effectively doubled purses in the last 4 years.

I love Woodbine. Go there for vacation every year, except this one-SARS scared me away.
Hope to get back on track next year.
Very comfortable track.
I always get a room in the hotel right next door - always reserve room facing the track on about the 6th floor or so-you can watch the works in the morning right from the window-over looks the top of the stretch.
Beside, they offer simos of my favorite track, Penn National.
Sitting outside at the paddock, watching black squirrels run around, horses walk around, mini skirts parading around.....ahhhhh! Nirvana.

Oh, and we don't have a terrorist threat orange - at least that I know of.
