Supposedly, the purse Monies from last weeks races were not paid to the Owners AND Jockeys and the Jocks refused to ride....
Embarrassing situation for track management, I think they need the SLOT bill passed FAST !!!!!:eek:

Hey Joe,

You're correct about the tardy payment being the reason, but the root cause is that the post race tests were not cleared. That falls back on the state who conducts the testing.
Also should note that Penn National jocks experienced delays in purses 'clearing' but they rode today.

YES, thats Correct.....I was viewing the New York O.T.B show
and assumed there was more to the story, and THEY LEFT OUT SOME PERTINENT INFO :rolleyes: They really played hardball today
and am anxious to hear what happens tomorrow.
