Is this pure speculation on your part, or just speculation?

THERE's a lot of honest people on the backside at GP, CD, AQU, BEL, and SAR

who know what goes on. I know many.

So why aren't they bringing all this first hand knowledge and evidence to regulators? And if the regulators won't listen to them, then go to the press. The press is no friend of racing. Surely they'll listen to all these "honest" folks you know on the backside of those five tracks you list.

If these people you know aren't doing anything to combat the wrongs that they know are going on, then how honest can they really be?

Horse Racing blaming the press for its failings reminds me of Nixon. If you don't want bad press, then don't give them anything to write about. The press is no body's friend, but it is not a wise idea to act they are the enemy. People or organisations who go after the press often get a short term benefit but in the long run they always get crushed.

I have to agree with PA on this. If people know, they should come forward. [ not an easy thing to do]What has hurt racing the most is the perception that they game is crooked
and no one does anything.
Years ago when Oscar Barerra stopped winning, the rumor was that they caught him and told him to stop. If they really caught him, they should have told the public.

PA They've came forward. Try a two page article by a hall of fame trainer
to start with in the NY POST.IT got some press for a week. Trainers/owners
have went to the NYRA .. they got lip service. The press has been
on it sporadically for a decade . It does no good.
Don't you get out much or SEARCH an read ?

Horseplayers still need to take a lawyer , a media camera man , a vet, and
players to the racing office on breeders cup, or ky derby day and
demand their own blood sample to be sent to a lab of their choice.
The same evening have PLAYERS and trainers who are fed up fading the BS.go to the
tv media.

Racing runs its buisness just like the usa gov since the day after
Reagan was shot. ANYTHING GOES. slap a few wrists for looks
what$$ in it for me.

If they have indeed come forward and nothing has been done, why continue to run at the track? Take a stand and pull out until things change.

That sounds good but it's not the way things work for
zillions of reasons . Bottom line Regulators/Enforcement need to do their
jobs.

"demand their own blood sample to be sent to a lab of their choice"

Yeah that sounds really fair and practical.

Not.

I don't know why some of you claim to like this game when you seem to hate everything about it. It's crazy, I tell ya.

who know what goes on. I know many. When asked why none of these people that you know don't go to the press, you show me, as "proof" of this claim, a four-year-old article about Jack Van Berg (am I to assume he's one of the many you know?), a guy who hasn't been to any of those tracks you listed in how long?

Try again.

You have no reasoning on the subject ,not from ignorance
but tunnel vision. You don't want to believe it .

IT does not matter if the HALL OF FAME trainer has been at BEL or CD they all
have contacts nationwide . i don't think you read the article
either because it mentions CALF. tracks also where he's been for decades.

THE FACTS are in the dope rulings (slap on wristss) and if you
talk to those trying to compete against it daily. IT"S THERE AND
IT RUINS THE GAME

I'm simply responding exactly to what you wrote, trying to figure out why you wrote it, why you singled out Churchill and Belmont "Management" and who these people are that you know who refuse to blow the whistle to sympathetic ears in the New York Times, at the very least.

Don't put this back on me. I'm not the one who started this thread. I'm looking for answers, just like you. You seemed like you had answers...information...but so far, all you throw me is a four-year-old article that had nothing to do with the specifics you used to create this thread.

Invent whatever you want about me...what I believe...what I don't believe (you have no clue in that regard, and I say that with all kindness)...

How about getting back to your original post.

BOTTOM LINE PA they blew the whistle many times nothing happened. period.
Only answer that is needed is like Wallst and the Gov
the regulators DO SHIT.
I started the thread for obvious reasons . It needs to be talked about
daily until they do something serious about the problem.
I'm done now for awhile. MAYBE MAYBE this is the year to bring
the lawyer , media ,and vet to their racing offices on a big day DEMAND
our own real blood samples. ciao

How credible or determined can you be if you can't even answer my questions?

I asked you some pretty simple and direct questions, and I get no answers...only deflections in return...

Ciao...I guess...
