The most feared words in the English language used to be, "Mike Wallace is here to see you."

I remember the premier of 60 Minutes. That was one heck of a show.

There aren't many real journalists left...we just lost a great one.
Very sad to hear of his passing.

Are any of the old school 60 Minutes reporters still alive?

you know he got sued a couple of times and lost.....for reporting things that weren't true

Most famously by Gen. Westmoreland.

But I agree they don't make em like that anymore

Anyone remember what his real name was? All of the obituaries I read just use his screen name.

Anybody remember Mike Wallace as the narrator(?) of TV show Biography years ago?

I thought he was great on that show.

RIP, Mr. Wallace.

Wallace was one of the very few newsmen in leftist Big Media that I liked and respected. He was old school professionalism, not nearly as biased as today's crop that push their agenda. Some great 60 minutes segments over the years, he was sure not bashful about asking some very pointed questions to powerful men.
