Aqueduct picks for Sunday:
R1 – #6 Falconer- Ran second in only sprint overseas. Has been contesting fast fractions in longer races, I can see him establishing a clear lead in this heat.
R2 - #5 Intelligent Male-Comes back from short rest and puts the blinks on. I think he will be competitive at this level, expecting a better effort today.
R3 - #2 Lure of Gold-Will finally get a fast dirt track to run on today.
R4 - #9 Valid Afleet-Don’t see much here in the way of early speed, so hoping he can hang on a bit longer today.
R5 - #1 Dixie Doree-Gets a major barn upgrade today. She’s 2 for 4 on the AQU inner, and should have an honest pace to run at here.
R6 - #4 Local Yokel-Curious why he’s running here. But he’s been working very well in the AM for a good 2yo FTS trainer.
R7 - #3 Dr. Kathy-Hard to go against improving filly. Had a bang up effort in graded stakes last time.
R8 - #2 Salute Him-Turf experiment is over, should have a decent pace to run at here.
R9 - #2 Tomahawk Lake-Looking for a wake up call on the stretchout. Ugly recent lines ensure a good price.
