Great card tonight, big money making opportunities!
R1: 2,7,5......Spyder Bite-8/1 ML......Had lifetime best last out. Get's return trip here and the two hole to boot. Should serve up a good price and Miller onboard only increases our chances.
R2: 3,1,8......Fall's Delight-3/1 ML......#1 will be tough to beat here, but Fall's Delight has a shot. Magee back aboard and fought gamely from the 3Q pole all the way to the wire, nearly winning. Will need similar trip to vie for the wire.
R3: 3,2,4......Zzzt-9/2 ML......Oosting had a heck of a horse here, getting year best last timeout. Gets another try at this level and getting the two hole. Should be strong and I am expecting more of the same here.
R4: 3,2,6......Hurricane John-5/2 ML......Pulled away in the stretch and showed very strong moves in the last two races down the stretch. De Long knows how to get it done.
R5: 5,7,8......Velvet Girl-3/1 ML......Has the advantage of having the stronger horses on the outside of her which helps. Just missed last out and gets another try here. Will probably be bet down.
R6: 2,1,3......Warrawee Lad-7/2 ML......Gave away late last out, gets another try here with Longo. Smart move is to lay off #1 and let him wear himself down, but making sure to keep tabs to not let the #1 run away with it.
R7: 4,5,2......Epona-6/1 ML......Leonard is aboard with the driver change and should be a positive one. Has won at this level before and not getting any Morning Line respect. Hope to get a great price. #5 was a very close decision here, but I like the #4 on the back class. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R8: 2,7,3......Sporty Trip-15/1 ML......Here is our Bomber. Last out didn't show a ton, but was gaining ground steadily. Slater hasn't raced much here and certainly hasn't won, so the driver is suspect. However, I feel we have a live horse here who has shown improvement in times over the last two. I like the big price and with a live horse, that is good enough to deserve a bet. Mr. Trifecta's Bomber of the Night!
R9: 2,6,4......MVP-5/2 ML......Not much in this race, but MVP should stand out as the best of the group. Didn't show much in the last two, but does get post relief and should be able to defeat this company rather easily.
R10: 4,6,8......Final Desire-12/1 ML......This could end up being a sneaky play. Dropping in class with Oosting staying aboard. In December has competed and cashed at this level here. Should be dropping in and could go off at a big price with Oosting. Mr. Trifecta's "Going to the Sizzler" Pick of the Night!
R11: 7,1,6......Thedayyouhavemade-8/1 ML......Nearly won from the six hole last out. Carpenter onboard ready to bring this mare home. Has the stamina to make a game try from the outside posts.
R12: 4,3,9......Harriet Potter-7/2 ML......Been in top form as of late and looks very strong here. Won last two of three and Warren is aboard to make it three of four.
