R1: 4,6,1……Diamond Chip-4/1 ML……Jumping back to the NW2 class and should help here. Didn’t show much last two out, but drops a little in class here and should fit in nicely with this group.
R2: 8,6,3……Catamount N-5/1 ML……Always shows early speed so not terribly concerned about getting to the front. Whether he can hold off the rest of the company is another thing all together. Hope to get 5/1, but think he will be beat down.
R3: 4,5,3……Lugar-4/1 ML……Betting against the #1 here and hoping he drops out of the money. Lugar showed something last time he hasn’t done in awhile and I like that move he made at the 2Q. He just couldn’t sustain it. Simard back aboard for the 4th try off the layoff, should run his best race here.
R4: 1,5,2……Cole Combustion-5/1 ML……Progressively getting better over the last three races and it shows in the cashes. Gets the golden post this time and Clements aboard. Should get his best trip yet and should be a decent price. Mr. Trifecta’s Pick of the Night!
R5: 2,5,6……Kikiskissinkousin-5/1 ML……Scratched last out so should be refreshed off the layoff. Gets rewarded with the two hole to make that comeback. Has cashed around this level so should be very competitive. Will be up to whether or not he #5 fires or not. Has a strong chance.
R6: 4,2,1……Lucky Hit-3/1 ML……Just missed last out. Gets returned trip and has done well at this level. Driver change is very questionable, however, hoping the driver won’t have to do much with this much horse.
R7: 5,1,7……Streetwise Hall-4/1 ML……Made a nice move at the 2Q to take the lead away, but then gave away. Get’s another shot at a level that he should be able to defeat easily. Clements aboard to try something new.
R8: 4,5,1……Major Trap-6/1 ML……2nd try at this class level and didn’t show much last out. Has cashed at this level so the back class is there. Simard onboard to give this mare a try. Mr. Trifecta’s Bomber of the Night!
R9: 1,5,6……Awesome Way-4/1 ML……Nearly won from the five hole two back. Tossing last due to post position. Simard staying aboard and getting the golden post to boot. We know this horse has the speed to get there, just needs to fire.
