Here we go!
R1: 2,1,4......Shescominonstrong-9/5 ML......Not much in this race, but we are going with the horse who has been the most consistent. Didn't show much last time but did close almost 4 lengths from the stretch call.
R2: 8,1,2......Bs Smoking Arizona-8/1 ML......Long shot here but Bs Smoking AArizona looks to have the only closing speed here amongst not a very fast group of horses. #1 will be surely bet down but we are hoping for some new lifetime marks here and to break the 0/51 winless streak.
R3: 1,2,4......Warrawee Lad-5/2 ML......Dropped in class last two, but first time drop here at Maywood. Has cashed three times at a tougher level and should benefit greatly from the drop.
R4: 3,4,6......Free Parkin Behind-7/2 ML......Didn't show much last out with Magee aboard, but that all changes with Oosting back in the sulky. Oosting knows how to bring this mare home and should be flying late.
R5: 4,2,3......Power and Purpose-3/1 ML......Miller back aboard and has had this mare in prime form as of late. Came up short last two out, but should be able to take this one to the winner's circle.
R6: 5,1,4......MVP-10/1 ML......Miller onboard our bomber here. Tossing last race and he has competed and cashed at this level. Needs to come back into form to be a threat here, but with the long odds we should get, its worth a shot. Mr. Trifecta's Bomber of the Night!
R7: 3,7,9......Pinfoot-8/1 ML......First time off the drop in class here at Maywood. Oosting is back aboard and should help. Not much for early speed here, but this horse does it's damage coming home late. The drop in class could help this mare get to a level she can compete at and at a big price. Mr. Trifecta's "Going to the Sizzler" Pick of the Night!
R8: 4,3,5......Who Told Gordy-2/1 ML......Alot of shippers in from Balmoral. I am going with the sure bet in Who Told Gordy. Has cashed last two out and really the only proven horse who can run well here at Maywood out of this group. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R9: 7,1,4......Fox Valley Teenie-2/1 ML......Just way too tough at this level and against this company.
R10: 1,7,3......Dashing Majorette-9/2 ML......#7 will be tough to beat as she has crushed at this level, but we are going with Dashing Majorette who draws the golden post. Post relief will help, but can she catch the #7?
R11: 8,4,1......Calista's Shark-10/1 ML......It's a longshot, but we are going for it tonight. Needs to have an amazing trip to compete here, but I like Calista's Shark's race two back where she won driving. Warren is back aboard and the same driver that got her that trip. Let's roll the dice and see if we come up big. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R12: 9,2,3......Epona-9/2 ML......Epona impressed me last time out. Has the ability to get over to the rail quickly which she will need to do here at the nine hole. Warren back aboard and will need to try a repeat here.
