I was satisfying a little curiosity by looking at some historical charts on Equibase, and I noticed that no matter when a race was run, the chart shows the current track record, not the record standing at the time of the race.

Am I the very last person to realize this?

For all I know, you may be the first one to realize it.

Andy Beyer once said to be happy when you find errors.

If you know the correct information you might be able to profit it from it.
