This makes the Sam Bowie pick look not so bad. At least Bowie was a serviceable NBA player for several years. Today the Blazers officially waived Greg Oden.

The Blazers could've had Kevin Durant with the top pick in the 2007 draft. They got 82 games played out of Oden; one game more than ONE full season. Kind of reminds one of how the careers of Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf turned out.
