It wasn't exactly an impressive bunch first off, that helped. He seemed to move forward in his last which was coming second off a short layoff. Back in his first two races both efforts appeared to be much better efforts. I thought, being the improve possibly being able to get back to repeat one of those two efforts made the 12/1 price I saw at the time of the post to be more than worthy of taking a shot.

That was a good hunch, i did see that the horse moved well early and had good energy ratings in his first two starts with the possibility of returning to that form. His running style fit the bill on the dirt at Gulfstream but what scared me off was the lengths beatin at the finish in his previous starts. I was shocked to say the least to see him positioned at the end with a history of fading down the stretch.
