A pretty good day Friday. 9 plays 3 win, with a nice long shot to finish the day at $23.60

Too bad I couldn't complete the Super in the tenth, that paid 35K. Anyone have the 1 and 5?

Spot plays continue to be profitable. By my count, 25 total "spot" plays, 7 win (28%) at an average odd of 8.6 to 1. A $2 win returns $84.40 profit. Move the decimal point two places and see $8,440 profit for a $200 win wager in the first 5 days. Will it continue? I have no idea.

My Excel filters go back six races, and I can ask it for a rank on calls or final speed, along with class requirements and distance/surface changes.

Really anything you can imagine. Sometimes I don't ask the right questions :)

Even at my best, I am wrong about 70% of the time. That's why I concentrate on horses the public normally avoids, so I can keep a good average odd.

The last two race were at Penn after winning here for Md 15K. Now running for a nickle.

An increase in speed at the 1/2 mile shows an improving horse. Did not really tire at Penn, just outclassed. Back to MNR for a nice win.

All hindsight, and I didn't see it, but pretty obvious after the fact :)
