Yes Bob... Im afraid you right, few years back I was fooled into thinking Mountaineer could be like the good ole days, a more profitable track or at least mildly entertaining. But Ive had given up hope the last 3 years, the results so this year so far are nothing more than an abberation. The stock isnt good enough anymore there, trainers and jocks pool have weakened considerably, to sustain the type of prices the last few days but we can still pray right?? :D

Well looks like a speed bias strip tonight, totally different track, however on form, those 1st two winners looked much the best anyway, so I have to hold judgement for a few more races I think.

Good point Bob but thats what has changed at MNR over the years, the local trainers used to beat the classy shipper a lot more, hardly ever see it the last few years at MNR.
