Well the owners of the pirates have taken another step to place a "winning team" on the field by signing their CF A. McCutchen to a multi-year contract for 6 years 51.5 mil. not a ton of money compared to some other players but first time the team owners pay some bucs for a player before arbitration and a trade. plus the owners paid the highest moneys for their 2011 entry pics. most in club history. signed the kid out of texas, Bell, who sent letters out to many baseball teams NOT to draft him as he was going to play football...but the owners came through w/ a several Mil dollar signing bonus and ya know the old saying.....money talks and bull sh*t walks.. :)

Keeping Andrew McCutchen is a huge first step for the Pirates. :ThmbUp:

Now if they sign Neil Walker....the city may just forget about the Steelers. ;)

he's next this year maybe but i think next year for sure. the team will not give up a home grown boy.
