Dunno about all that.

I do know that in the great white North, we've had successions of nicer winters. Thus far, this winter, we've had maybe 4 small, snowstorms. And, if you waited 1-2 days, you wouldn't have to do any shovelling.

On top of that, it's been a rare day below freezing, even in February, as opposed to multiple days previously, where you'd need the proverbial brass balls to survive the 10-20 belows.:)
