for an obscure Elvis movie, and 40 yrs later was sitting in a theater with his wife watching Oceans Eleven when the song came on during a scene in the movie. In the next 12 months the song went to #1 in 38 countries.

It was a remix by Junkie XL whomever the heck that is. Royalties are royalties :ThmbUp:

I thought you were talking about the trainer.
Billy Strange was one of the "miracle" trainers at FL back in the day.

I know it's an obscure musical reference. But being a fan of songwriters, I thought some might have heard of him. "The Wrecking crew" is a pretty well known group of studio types. There's a documentary out there somewhere about them.

.......nobody knows who the writers are normally. But I find them to be much more interesting than the artists many times. Billy Strange was responsible for a portion of the soundtrack of our lives, and nobody knows who he was.
