Hope you enjoy the expanded picks! Some good races tonight and money to be made!
R1: 2 w/1,8……JL Jan-7/2 ML……I like JL Jan’s race two back and with an improved post position, I see Dean Magee going for the wire to wire here.
R2: 2,7,1……Hazel May-5/1 ML……Last time out Haze made a nice bid at 2Q and 3Q pole but fizzled out. The horses that beat here are also returning to this race. She has a vastly improved post and I think she will need it. I like the move she made last time out and she is up there as the class of the race. Public will be betting the 4 but I see the 2 showing up at a nice price.
R3: 9,4,7……Late Hope-10/1 ML……At Balmoral Park, you won’t make much money betting on Marcus Miller because his horses are usually favorites and not getting much in return. His horse, the #8 is very beatable making his 2nd start from a worse post then last time and Late Hope is the horse to do it at a big price. Last 2 out didn’t do much at this post, but my money is on third time is the charm and Carpenter knows this horse. Throwing out the last race and this horse did its lifetime best here at Balmoral. Mr. Trifecta’s Bomber of the Night!
R4: 6,8,1……Tone-3/1 ML……This is a two horse race, #6 Tone versus #8 Obermeierzilla if you look at recent form. Picking the better post position. Horses are pretty similar, but I like Tone’s post position and recent form better. #9 is sneaky here and could upset if it can return to previous form, bad position though.
R5: 1,7,3……Hong Kong Kwyne-4/1 ML……Faced similar competition recently, better post position. Will learn to be the bride instead of the bridesmaid tonight.
R6: 1,5,6……Itzalazzi-3/1 ML……I hee’d and haw’d on this race. I am a fan of #5 Kimberely R, but #1 Itzalazzi has been killing it this year and drawing the rail will make life hell for the other horses.
R7: 8,4,7……Life Is Good Today-4/1 ML……Hoping for a good price, everyone will be riding the hot horse, the #4. Trip will be key.
R8: 2 w/6,4……Rosalie’s Smile-6/1 ML……Mr. Trifecta’s Pick of the Night! This horse has found it’s form. Last race won in in dominating fashion and set a new lifetime mark. Gets a better post position and plans to repeat that performance tonight even against the #6 who has been on a terror as of late. I’m all in.
R9: 8,3,9……Night Hostess-5/1 ML……Don’t like at all the 3-5 posts at Balmoral so we are going with an outside player here. Last time out took the lead at the 2Q pole and never looked back. It will be tougher this time around. She has some late kick, so lets hope she isn’t used up before the stretch.
R10: 6,9,5……Royal Man-3/1 ML……Dropping in class and shipping over from Maywood. Figures to do well here and should be the speed of the speed. Watch out for the #9. Figures to be close down the stretch.
