This is a great program. I have used it for a couple of years. The offer is Today (Feb 22, 2012) only until 7:00PM Eastern Time. This software is definitely worth grabbing.

Advanced SystemCare 5 is IObit's latest "do everything" PC security, maintenance and optimisation suite.

The program divides its functions into four main sections. And the first, Quick Care, deals with rapid checks which you might want to run daily. A "Quick Malware Removal" scan checks for and removes any infections; the Privacy Sweep wipes various internet and activity histories; and there are tools to clean your Registry, delete junk files, and fix invalid shortcuts.

The second section, Deep Care, provides more thorough versions of the previous features, and introduces some new functions of its own. So there are tools to defrag your Registry and hard drive, optimise your PC boot time, detect and fix hard drive errors, spot missing Windows updates, and more.

The third section is the Toolbox, which includes more than 20 utilities with even more PC maintenance power. The IObit Uninstaller helps you properly remove applications, for instance; the File Shredder securely wipes confidential files so they can't be recovered; and there are tools to optimise your RAM and Internet connection, detect and fix common Windows problems, find duplicate files, remove deeply embedded malware infections, back up and update your drivers, and more.

And the fourth section, Turbo Boost, can temporarily turn off non-essential services and applications, delivering an extra performance boost when you need it most.

The major addition in this version is Active Boost, which optimises your application's RAM and CPU use in real time. Quick and Deep Care are also enhanced; Turbo Boost can recover more system resources than ever; the interface has been changed just a little, making the program easier to use, and new cloud technology allows Advanced SystemCare to respond more quickly to new malware outbreaks.

Please note, that the trial on this page will install as the Free version, which is limited in functionality compared to the PRO version. The PRO version ships with deeper cleansing, anti-malware support, automatic updates, no adverts and much more. You receive a PRO serial code after logging in.

Affiliate marketing to us, i.e. spam? Come on...

I have no affiliation with company. This is the first time this program has ever be offered FREE and I believe PA members and guests would benefit. As I previously stated, I have used the software for years and it is a very good tool. Don't ever accuse me of spamming or having ulterior motives. I wish you didn't have to hide behind a keyboard or under your desk... but magically have the ability to step up and accuse me to my face.

The affiliate would be with the downloadcrew/giveaway site, not the maker of the product. It looks like that site is promoted mainly via affiliate links, which is what your link looked like (and your post was written in ad-copy style). If it ain't, fair enough. As far as hiding, who's hiding? Why wouldn't I say it to your face? Would you beat me up in-person for saying cool it with the spam?

GameTheory,

My posted link was may have been promoted via affiliate, I don't know or care. That should not make a difference to PA members and guests, they get a chance to perform security, maintenance and optimization on their computer FREE for a year. Maybe some users of who have downloaded the software will post whether it was a benefit to them or not. I did not write the ad-copy, I just copy and pasted from the Company's website to give readers a description of what the software was about. They only had less than nine hours to decide from when I first seen the offer.

You asked "Why wouldn't I say it to your face? Would you beat me up in-person for saying cool it with the spam?" Well, I have had many programmers work for me over the past twenty years and most would never confront me face-to face. I never mentioned beating you up...I would probably try to hire you. Lets just leave it alone.

Well, I have had many programmers work for me over the past twenty years and most would never confront me face-to face. I never mentioned beating you up...No, but you make vaguely threatening statements, and you just did again -- I *think* you are implying you are a scary guy and I'd be afraid of you if I met you in person? (If that is not what you are implying, then what? And what does being a programmer have to do with anything? I may be totally missing what you are getting at.) It isn't like I threatened you -- don't see why I would not "confront" you (that word is a bit strong for what I did) no matter what you looked like if I had a minor issue, unless you really do look and act like a psycho or something. It's just basic communication, I speak my mind -- why wouldn't I?

Regarding the original issue, you had just posted another link to another program yesterday -- just thought we might be heading for a steady stream of advertisements so I spoke up. If I was in error, so what? Why get all huffy?

Hey GameTheory,

Look into getting some professional help regarding "delusional paranoia". You think everyone is out to get you. Your problem probably affects your co-workers, family and friends in ways you can't possibly understand. You really do have problem. Just looking out for your best interests. You got to chill out a little!

Hey GameTheory,

Look into getting some professional help regarding "delusional paranoia". You think everyone is out to get you. Your problem probably affects your co-workers, family and friends in ways you can't possibly understand. You really do have problem. Just looking out for your best interests. You got to chill out a little!

I don't think anyone is out to get me. I'm not sure I've ever thought in my life that anyone was sitting around plotting against me.

But, you tell me in not so-many-words (twice) "you wouldn't say that to my face". As if I really said anything worthy of being called truly "confrontational". (I don't think I did, so maybe you're projecting your own paranoia, I don't know.) But anyway, putting that aside, I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to take that other than I'd be afraid to (say it to your face). Seriously, what other way is there to take that? Please tell me. Anyone?

And if I'd be afraid, then there would have to be a reason, no? And what other reason would there be to be afraid in-person other than some sort of physical threat or intimidation? Again, I can't see any other way to take it. But maybe that's my delusional paranoia talking -- it is notoriously difficult to see one's own faults, after all, but I do try. So if I'm on the wrong wavelength, please tell me what you actually meant. Seriously, not a rhetorical question -- I like to learn, especially if I'm being a fool. But I'm not just going to roll over and accept without evidence that I'm delusionally paranoid, especially since I don't think you or anyone is "out to get me". But I do see those undertones of intimidation in your comment, so if you could please provide the alternative interpretation that I'm missing I'd be grateful. I am totally serious.
