Let me add to Jay's post.

The next contest day is Wednesday, February 15th.

Any new players who wish to get in to the contest should do so this day if they still want to qualify for the contest prizes and awards points. There will be 11 contest days remaining (including a special Monday 02/20 Presidents Day offering).

Technically, a new player could enter the contest as late as Thursday, February 16th and still qualify, however, the problem with doing so is that you have no margin for error regarding scratched plays. You would then need to get in 3 plays each and every one of the 10 remaining contest days (including Monday 02/20) to reach the required 30 total plays. You would also need to keep a close eye on each day so as to replace any scratched selections with another race/selection. Failure to replace even 1 scratched play would make you not eligible for prizes/award points.

Make it much easier on yourself.......start playing on WEDNESAY, FEBRUARY 15th. :)
