MY SOUND WENT OFF

MY SOUND WENT OFF. I have an IDT CODEC HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO CARD.

WHEN i GO INTO device manager it says the program is now up to date but won't start because of "CODE 10".

i went to the internet and followed the instructions but I still get a code 10. I even uninstalled the driver and plugged in a new updated driver from IDT.

any ideas?? does anyone know what code 10 means besides uninstalling and reinstalling your driver.

My current assement is it may be a bad driver it is 7 years old but there are a lot of vidio cards that have lasted longer than that.

Try googling IDT Codec HD Definition Audio card with code 10.
You should get some help there.

I tried that and I still have no audio but on the upside I did find out that code 10 is basically one program on top of another. So I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled a new one and it still doesn't work. and now my vidieo is really cloudy. You don't see the object just a shadowy image like thru a fog.
